<p>A gas storage tank comprises liner comprising composition consisting of 65-90 wt.% copolyamide having a structure of the random tree type, which is the result of the reaction between multifunctional monomer, difunctional monomer or the corresponding lactams; impact modifier; optionally chain extender; and optionally 0-5 wt.% additives. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) manufacturing the gas storage tank involving manufacturing the liner by blow-molding or extrusion blow-molding, and assembling the same to structural components; coating liner with a composite coating layer, the composite comprising carbon fibers and/or glass fibers; (2) random tree copolyamide obtained by reaction between 0.1-0.5 mol.% multifunctional monomer (I), 98-99.8 mol.% difunctional monomer (II), and 0.001-0.5 mol.% difunctional monomer (III) or (IV).</p> |
