PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a posture holding tool capable of appropriately reducing loads to be applied to upper arm parts of an operator in the posture holding tool which is worn and used by the operator.SOLUTION: A posture holding tool comprises: body parts 2, 4 which are attached to the back part or the shoulder parts of an operator; and arm parts 5, 6 which are supported around right and left axes P1 of the body parts 2, 4 to be swung vertically and extended forward along upper arm parts of the operator. The arm parts 5, 6 are provided with: attachment parts 27, 29 which are attached to the upper arm parts of the operator; and lower receiving parts 37 which receive the elbow parts of the operator from the bottom and support them. The posture holding tool comprises a support mechanism which can be freely switched between an allowable state for allowing a movement of the arm parts 5, 6 accompanying a movement of the upper arm parts of the operator attached to the arm parts 5, 6, and a support state for supporting the arm parts 5, 6 at desired positions with respect to the body parts 2, 4. |
