PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device which can quickly discharge internal energy when abnormality occurs.SOLUTION: In a power storage device 1, a foil group 21 is wound around side surface parts of a case 2 in plural times. By using the foil group 21, first metal foil 31 and second metal foil 32 are short-circuited by making a metal rod-like member P such as a nail penetrate the foil group 21 and thereby the internal energy can be discharged. In the power storage device 1, the first metal foil 31 is connected to a positive electrode terminal 5 and the second metal foil 32 is connected to a negative electrode terminal 6. Therefore, the internal energy can be quickly discharged because a contact part between the first metal foil 31 and the rod-like member P and a contact part between the second metal foil 32 and the rod-like member P become passages for discharging the internal energy. |
