PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens body which can be made more compact to facilitate molding and offers uniform luminance on a light-projecting surface thereof.SOLUTION: A lens body 20 comprises: a bottom face 20a; an outer side face 20b; and an upper face 20c. The lens body 20 also includes; an annular groove 22 formed circularly on the bottom face 20a; an annular recess 25 formed circularly opposite the annular groove 22; a light-projecting surface 24a from which light is output; an outer total reflection surface 23 which is a reflective surface on a transmissive material side of the outer side face 20b; a circular inner side face 20d which is a side face on the inner circumference side of the annular groove 22 and the annular recess 25; and an inner total reflection surface 26 which is a reflective surface on the transmissive material side of the inner side face 20d and reflects incident light. With such configuration, the size of the lens body 20 can be reduced to facilitate molding and uniform luminance can be achieved on the light-projecting surface.
