PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active energy ray-curable composition for forming an optical film, which can achieve both of a low photoelastic coefficient and a low retardation and has good moisture heat resistance and excellent flexibility, and to provide an optical film, a polarizer protective film and a polarizing plate obtained from the composition.SOLUTION: The active energy ray-curable composition for forming an optical film or sheet comprises the following (A) component or/and (B) component: (A) A reaction product between a (meth)acrylate polymer (a1) having a functional group in a side chain, the functional group reactive with a carboxyl group or a hydroxyl group, and a compound (a2) having a carboxyl group or a hydroxyl group, and a (meth)acryloyl group, and having a number average molecular weight of 180 or more; (B) A reaction product between a (meth)acrylate polymer (b1) having the compound (a2) as a structural monomer and having a carboxyl group or a hydroxyl group in a side chain, and a compound (b2) having a (meth)acryloyl group and a functional group reactive with a carboxyl group or a hydroxyl group. |
