PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater searching apparatus that can generate a target searching image excelling in visibility and permitting accurate reading of required information.SOLUTION: A fish finder is provided with a transceiver, an echo signal processor, a display unit and a display controller. The transceiver transmits ultrasound into water and receives echo signals, which are reflections of ultrasound. The echo signal processor calculates fish school information on the basis of the echo signals. The display unit displays the fish school information by using fish school symbols. The display controller sets a selective display range around each fish school symbol displayed on the display unit, and so performs control as not to allow information on any other fish school, for instance, in the selective display range so set. |
