The invention relates to a semifinished metal product, to a hybrid component made at least of a semifinished product according to the invention and a carbon fiber-reinforced plastic, and to a method for producing a semifinished product according to the invention. The aim of the invention is to provide a semifinished metal product which is particularly suitable for producing a hybrid component and to provide a hybrid component with improved anti-corrosion properties. This is achieved by a semifinished metal product which comprises at least one first region with a corrosion-protection layer made of an organic coating, in particular a coating which is suitable for welding, said organic coating having a thickness of 0.5 to 10 µm, in particular 1 to 5 µm, and by a hybrid component made at least of a semifinished product according to the invention and a carbon fiber-reinforced plastic, wherein the carbon fiber-reinforced plastic is connected to the semifinished product in the first region of the semifinished product.
