A method for controlling the geometry of green tyres (100, 100') different from each other and built up in succession, comprises: - transferring each green tyre from a building line (2) to a regularising station (5); - providing a pre-moulding device (10) by adapting it to the fitting of each green tyre transferred into said regularising station, each green tyre being allowed to differ from the next to an extent of at least 3% in terms of the fitting diameter; - regularising the circular conformation of a pair of beads (106) of said green tyre by pre-moulding it as a function of a respective vulcanisation mould (3a). |
