The invention relates to a system for heating water that enters through an ordinary pipe and for heating water using renewable energy, forming an integral part of a water tank. The invention is carried out by two tanks of different sizes, one inside the other, so that the transfer of heat and the instability of the water molecules owing to the heat cause the water with a higher temperature to rise above the water with a lower temperature and overflow into the larger tank where its temperature continues to rise owing to convection. The objective is to keep the liquid with the higher temperature separate from that flowing in from the pipe, so as to prevent the zeroth law of thermodynamics from being applied to both liquids. The aforementioned temperature increase is achieved using reflective panels that concentrate the intensity of the sun's rays onto a narrower surface of the outer tank, allowing the increase in temperature. An outer case protects the system against cooling by air currents.
