PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid pressure cylinder and a revolving type clamp device capable of causing a piston member to open and close a detecting opening and closing valve mechanism in conjunction with the movement of the piston member to its movement limit position.SOLUTION: This invention comprises a valve storing hole 35 communicated with an un-clamping hydraulic pressure working chamber 12a, a valve 36 movably stored in the valve storing hole 35 and having an annular engaging cavity 37 at its outer periphery part, a ball 38 that can be engaged with the annular engaging cavity 37 and an engaging part 39 formed at an auxiliary rod 7 and with which the ball 38 can be engaged. When a piston member 4 reaches an un-clamping position, the valve 36 accepts hydraulic pressure and a part of the ball 38 is engaged with the engaging part 39 to cause the valve 36 to change its position to the valve closing position, and when the piston member 4 is moved from the un-clamping position, the ball 38 is not engaged with the engaging part 39, but engaged with the annular engaging cavity 37 to cause the valve 36 to keep a valve opening position. |
