PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance earthquake resistance by a simple constitution.SOLUTION: In the case of an earthquake, a projection 112 projecting from an end face 52T of an end part 52 of a ceiling board 50 is brought into contact with a friction plate 132 provided on a cornice 60 and slides and rubs it following the horizontal movement of the ceiling board 50 with respect to the cornice 60. This friction consumes and absorbs energy caused by the earthquake, thereby controlling earthquake vibration and accordingly improving earthquake resistance of the ceiling board 50. Thus, the earthquake resistance of the ceiling board 50 is enhanced by a simple structure in which a friction mechanism 100 is provided between the ceiling board 50 and the cornice 60. |
