PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nitrogen-containing compound detection agent for agricultural chemical for easily measuring a nitrogen-containing compound for agricultural chemical at a low cost, and to provide a measuring method of the agricultural chemical using the nitrogen-containing compound detection agent for agricultural chemical.SOLUTION: When a nitrogen-containing compound for agricultural chemical is contained in an extraction liquid extracted from an analyte using a solvent, a detection agent is mixed into the extraction liquid, thereby producing a hydrogen bond between the detection agent and the nitrogen-containing compound for agricultural chemical. As a result, the electron density in the detection agent varies. Therefore, the variation is detected by measuring the absorbance of the detection agent, and the nitrogen-containing compound for agricultural chemical is measured on the basis of the degree of variation in the absorbance.
