Based on the object information, a MIP-map level selection algorithm is determined. The MIP-map level selection algorithm includes ray tracing and/or distance measuring, wherein the ray tracing selects the MIP-map based on the Differential value of adjacent rays, and the distance measuring can select a MIP-map by calculating the distance at which the ratio of pixels and texels reach 1:1. Based on the determined method, the MIP-map level is selected.
