PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary apparatus for a ladder that is high in durability and easily changes the attitude of a support arm.SOLUTION: A support member 7 includes a support plate 12 attached to a side face of a column 3, a fitting plate 13 which holds a base part of an arm member 8 from the right and left with the support plate 12, a holding part 14 connecting the fitting plate 13 to the support plate 12, and a support shaft 15 pivotally supporting the arm member 8. At the holding part 14, a storage engagement part 21 for holding the arm member 8 in a storage attitude V and an in-use engagement part 22 for holding the arm member 8 in an in-use attitude W are formed. Engagement operation means 31 of energizing the base part of the arm member 8 in directions of engagement with the storage engagement part 21 and in-use engagement part 22 such that the base end of the arm member 8 is freely detached is provided between the base part of the arm member 8 and the support shaft 15. |
