PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a catalyst for removing exhaust gas excellent in NOx purification performance especially under rich atmosphere, and a catalyst obtained by the producing method.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a catalyst including: (a) a coprecipitation process of catalyst metals for adding a basic solution to an acidic solution including at least one selected from polyvinyl pyrrolidone, N-methyl pyrrolidone, N-vinyl-2- pyrrolidone and ethylene glycol; a precursor of cerium; a precursor of zirconium; and palladium/barium composite colloid; (b) a calcination process for drying the resultant solution and calcinating the dried object. |
