PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnosis support apparatus capable of accurately determining a lesion without being affected by a method of representing or calculating an image feature quantity represented by a shape vector.SOLUTION: A diagnosis support apparatus comprises: a base vector matching part 1901 for matching mutually-different base vectors that consist of a base vector used for basis representation of an examination feature quantity equivalent to an image feature quantity of an examination image for which it is unknown whether or not a lesion image is included and a base vector used for basis representation of a normal feature quantity equivalent to the image feature quantity of a normal image not including the lesion image; a lesion determination part 107 for determining that the examination image includes the lesion image when a difference between coefficients, which respectively show the coefficients after the base vectors are matched and consist of a coefficient at the time of basis representation of the normal feature quantity and a coefficient at the time of basis representation of the examination feature quantity, is greater than a determination threshold; and a determination result output part 109 for outputting a result of the determination by the lesion determination part 107. |
