PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a belt-type continuously variable transmission capable of improving fuel consumption.SOLUTION: A control device of a CVT (continuously variable transmission) loaded on a vehicle and capable of executing hill start assist control, includes an ECU (electronic control unit) executing thrust ratio rise control for selecting a thrust ratio in a driven time higher than that in a driving time in starting on a flat road, as the thrust ratio of a secondary pulley and a primary pulley, when a vehicle starts on an uphill road, and the ECU prohibits the execution of the thrust ratio rise control even in starting on the uphill road, when the hill start assist control is executed. |
