PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smaller rotary type valve device.SOLUTION: A flow passage switching valve 1 is configured in such a manner that: a valve seat part 20 includes a planar valve seat surface 22a facing a valve chamber A provided inside of a valve body 10, and a plurality of valve ports opening to the valve seat surfaces 22a; and a valve member 30, which is arranged in the valve chamber A superimposed on the valve seat surface 22a in a slidable and rotatable manner, switches by rotation of a connection relation of the plurality of valve ports which is fixed according to a stop position. One end part 41 of a rotary shaft part 40 is attached to the valve member 30, and an other end part 42 of the rotary shaft part 40, penetrating a second part 12 of the valve body 10, protrudes to the outside of the valve body 10. The rotary shaft part 40 is supported by a bearing part 14 of the valve body 10 in such a manner that it is rotatable with a direction parallel to an axis L direction orthogonal to the valve seat surface 22a being an axis. Then, a rotary drive part 50 is arranged outside of the valve body 10 and rotates the rotary shaft part 40 by being connected to the other end part 42 of the rotary shaft part 40. |
