PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endless belt whose life can be prolonged by preventing repetition of buckling deformation of the endless belt at a joint portion of reinforcement tape, thereby preventing separation of the reinforcement tape, and to provide a belt drive device.SOLUTION: An endless belt (M) comprises a belt body (10e) and a reinforcement part (36). The reinforcement tape (46) is divided on each winding with respect to the outer peripheries of both ends into separate winds, a plurality of first tapes (46,46,46) shorter than the entire circumference of the belt body, and a second tape (46) longer than the entire circumference. The first tapes are attached to the outer periphery in order such that the wind start positions of one ends (ato a) of the winds around the outer periphery are different from the wind end positions of the other ends (bto b) in a circumferential direction. Further, recessed parts (26) are formed at the one ends and the other ends. The second tape is wound on the first tapes such that the other ends follow the recessed parts, and is attached in a position beyond the one end (b) of the winds around the outer periphery. |
