PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute appropriate white balance correction to images acquired during photographing regardless of the dispersion of luminance distribution. SOLUTION: The electronic camera includes: a calculation part for obtaining the luminance of a field before and after auxiliary light is emitted and for obtaining the change amount of the luminance of the field accompanied by the presence/absence of the auxiliary light from the luminance of the field before and after the auxiliary light is emitted when making the auxiliary light be emitted and acquiring images; a setting part for setting color balance correction based on the influence rate of the auxiliary light on the basis of the change amount of the luminance obtained by the calculation part; a luminance distribution calculation part for calculating the luminance distribution of the field before the auxiliary light is emitted; an adjustment part for adjusting the influence rate of the auxiliary light in the color balance correction set by the setting part on the basis of the luminance distribution of the field before the auxiliary light obtained by the luminance distribution calculation part is emitted; and a color balance correction part for executing the color balance correction to the acquired images by using the color balance correction adjusted by the adjustment part.
