PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baking tool material having excellent mechanical strength and high adhesiveness of a base material to a thermal-sprayed layer.SOLUTION: The baking tool material includes a thermal-sprayed layer containing at least one to be selected from zirconia or a zirconate on a surface of an alumina-based or alumina-silica-based base material. The baking tool material satisfies the inequalities (1) dp≥750 and (2) vp≥0.007, and the base material thereof has the bending strength of ≥25 MPa, where dp denotes the peak pore diameter (nm) in the pore diameter distribution of the base material measured by the mercury penetration technique, and vp denotes the difference pore volume (ml/g) in the peak pore diameter dp, respectively. |
