PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die having a parting rib to improve the productivity and workability of die casting, which requires no working to eliminate a difference between an insert die and a body when the insert die is replaced. SOLUTION: The die 1 is provided with the die body 2 that is the body and the insert die 3, and has a recessed part 8 for the parting rib to form the parting rib 9, formed in a part continuous to a boundary portion 1a between the die body 2 and the insert die 3 in a condition that the die body 2 and the insert die 3 are combined, wherein the boundary portion 1a is set offsetting on the die body 2 side with respect to a center position (line X) of the recessed part 8 for the parting rib in a width direction, and a second curved surface 3c that is a concave curved surface composing the recessed part 8 for the parting rib is formed only in the insert die 3.
