<p>The sensor (1) has a reflector (5) including a reflector pattern, which is completely imaged on a camera (4) in different distances of the reflector. A reflecting or non-reflecting object that is arranged outside a visible region and within a protection field, is detected such that the object disconnects a light line (3) produced by an illuminating unit (2) for ensuring that light from reflective reflecting segments (5a) of the reflector is not guided to the camera. The protection field is planarly illuminated with the light line, and the segments are imaged by the light line on the camera. The camera is a monospectrum camera.</p> |
