The present invention relates to a ship comprising an upper bow having height and width decreasing toward the front end thereof and a chamfer shape on an upper edge thereof; and a spherical bow part at the lower end of the upper bow. The upper bow includes an upper deck part arranged to be inclined toward a water plane and becoming narrower from the rear end to the front end thereof; a connection part arranged at the lower side of the upper deck part and having height and width decreasing from the rear end to the front end thereof; a chamfer part having a chamfer shape and arranged on the edge of the upper deck part to connect the upper deck part and the connection part; and a slope part arranged at the lower side of the connection part and having the front end, which is inclined toward a stern from top to bottom, and the lower end connected to the spherical bow part. The ship according to the present invention has a bow in a shape minimizing air resistance to improve propulsion efficiency from reduced air resistance, thereby saving energy and enables effective operation of a position control system, thereby drastically reducing costs. |
