<p>The purpose of the present invention is to inhibit, as much as possible, the occurrence of inconveniences such as not being able to easily install a gasket to an installation groove, the gasket lifting up from the installation groove after being installed thereto, and the gasket incline within the installation groove. In order to achieve said purpose, the gasket is integrally provided with a gasket main body of which one end comes into close contact with the groove bottom surface, a pair of first and second side surface lips which come into close contact with the groove side surface in the vicinity of the groove bottom portion, and a pair of third and fourth side surface lips which come into close contact with the groove side surface in the vicinity of the groove opening portion. The relationship of w 1 <W 2 is satisfied in accordance with the relationship of w 3 <W 4 , w 1 representing the gasket width at the first and second side surface lips, w 2 representing the gasket width at the third and fourth side surface lips, w 3 representing the groove width of the attachment groove at the position the first and second side surface lips come into close contact with the side surfaces of the installation groove, and w 4 representing the groove width of the installation groove at the position the third and fourth side surface lips come into close contact with the side surfaces of the installation groove.</p> |
