<p>The round bale press (1), to convert harvested forage into round bales, has a variable bale chamber (2) which can be flapped open with a second and similar bale chamber (3), with two separate rotating guides (6,7) after the harvest take-in unit (4) to advance the harvest (5) to the following bale chamber (2) or into the leading bale chamber (3) by a single rotating guide. The rotation of the guides gives the formation of a preliminary bale in the leading chamber. After the bale has been pressed and bound, it is transferred to the following chamber by the rotation of the guides (6,7,8,9) at both chambers and opening the leading chamber.</p> |
