A liquid crystal display and a driving method thereof are provided to prevent cross talk by using a different inversion method according to a condition. A liquid crystal panel(102) displays an image by arranging a plurality of gate lines(GL1-GLn) and a plurality of data line(DL1-DLm). A data driver(106) operates the plurality of data lines. A gate driver(104) operates a plurality of gate lines. A timing controller(108) controls a drive timing of data and gate drivers. A cross-talk determining unit(114) determines whether a pattern generating the cross talk among data is inputted. A polarity reverse signal generating unit(110) generates the polarity reverse signal and supplies the polarity reverse signal to the data driver. A switch unit(112) switches an inversion method according to a signal outputted from the cross talk determining unit. |
