A steel plate flattening apparatus for a cooling platform capable of improving the surface flatness of a steel plate by preventing water from being collected on a surface of the steel plate when the steel plate is quickly cooled on the cooling platform by water spray is disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the steel plate flattening apparatus comprises: tension applying units arranged on an inlet and an outlet of a cooling platform respectively and applies tension to a steel plate in a lengthwise direction of the steel plate; and a transfer roll lifting unit which lifts a transfer roll arranged on the center of the cooling platform which removes the cooling water sprayed onto the upper part of the steel plate by forcibly making the cooling water flow downwards. |
