The present invention relates to an electro-fusion connector for sewer pipes. An electro-fusion connector (10) for connecting end portions of two pipes (18, 18′) serving as sewer pipes without leaking includes a foaming sheet (12), a support sheet (14), and a fixing band (16). Heating-wire panels (22, 24) are disposed in parallel with each other, with the foaming sheet (12) being positioned an axis portion (32) of a longitudinal direction. A coated heating wire (30) is woven on the heating-wire panels (22, 24) in a zigzag pattern, and consists of inner and outer rope portions (30a, 30b) and a straight portion between the rope portions. When the foaming sheet (12) is wound around the end portions of the pipes (18, 18′) to be connected, one end portion of the longitudinal direction is overlapped with the other end portion to form a double portion (38). In order to prevent a leaking path from being formed in the axis portion (32) on the double portion (38) of the foamed sheet (12), an extended rope portion (30c) extending from the rope portion of one heating-wire panel to the rope portion of the opposite heating-wire panel is alternatively arranged on the heating-wire panels (22, 24) of the double portion (38), so that each extended rope portion (30c) alternatively arranged is extended beyond the axis portion (32) of the double portion (38). |
