The present invention relates to a can and, more specifically, to a can capable of retaining heat and cold, which comprises: a water storage tank combined with the lower part of a can body, having water stored therein; a selection lever which is inserted into a space formed in the center of the water storage tank and composed of a rotatable structure and which has a rotating unit for a rotational operation, formed on the center of the lower side thereof; a heating catalyst storage unit formed inside the selection lever to accommodate a heating catalyst and provided with an outlet; a cooling catalyst storage unit installed inside the selection lever to accommodate a cooling catalyst, spaced apart from the heating catalyst storage unit and provided with an outlet; and an injection pathway provided to communicate with the water storage tank, coming into contact with the outer circumferential surface of the selection lever and supplying the heating catalyst or the cooling catalyst to the water storage tank when connected to one of the outlets. The can according to the present invention is provided to conveniently warm up and cool canned beverage when required, regardless of time and place during outdoor activities, thereby providing great satisfaction for a consumer. |
