A method and an apparatus for determining the music desirable for the user of a music player are provided to recommend the music fitting for the taste of the user by selecting the music based on the range of tempo. A method for determining the music desirable for the user of a music player comprises a step of sensing the head motion of the user by using a 3D movement sensor while music is reproduced(120), a step of comparing the tempo of the sensed movement with the tempo of the corresponding music(130), a step of deciding the range of the tempo which the user prefers based on the comparison result(140), and a step of producing a music list desirable for the user based on the determined tempo range(150). |
