The present invention provides a mobile terminal. The mobile terminal includes: a display unit which displays one among home screen pages; a user input unit which receives a user′s control command to modify the layout of screen information output on the home screen page; a control unit which restricts the modification of screen information layout based on the attributes of the screen information output on the display unit.
