The anemometer (10) has a shaft (16) supported in bearings (24, 26) of a housing (14). A wind receiving unit i.e. wind wheel (12) is arranged at the shaft and displaces the shaft in rotation, during wind. A detection unit is provided for detecting rotation speed of the shaft. An output unit outputs the detected rotation speed. A drive unit i.e. electrical motor (30a) e.g. synchronous motor and step motor, is provided for driving the shaft. An electronic circuit (38) determines and processes drive torque. The detection unit and the output unit are designed as a voltage generator (30). |
