The system of flat floors is the fusion of two components which are the asymmetric steel beams partially drowned into concrete with the lower wide flange, a support of the waffled slabs in one or two directions, these may form flat slab boards, the construction may be conventional, with a prefabricated system or with the utility model number 1771; the transversal section of the beam has a space for locating connectors (figure 4), these latter elements connecting beams and slabs for avoiding premature displacements, the shear transference between beams and slabs is double, by shear connectors and adherence; these beams in composite construction have a great rigidity. The waffled slabs work in one or two directions; a unidirectional slab is used in small and wide spans, if the support beam is of a large span, the rigidity will be increased by locating one or two ribs at each side of the beam with the suitable separation in the current technique. The denomination of flat slab is nominal. |
