The present invention relates to a clay composition for lightweight ceramic ware including talc and a manufacturing method of lightweight ceramic ware using the clay composition, wherein the composition includes clay and 30-110 wt% of talc relative to 100 wt% of clay and water content is 20-45%. According to the present invention, lightweight ceramic ware can be manufactured by forming pores in a sintering step using talc emitting gas at high temperatures. The lightweight ceramic ware reduces weight since specific gravity decreases due to the formation of pores. |
