The undercarriage has an oleo-pneumatic type shock absorber filled with gas and hydraulic fluid. The shock absorber is provided with a separating piston (30), which sealing slides in the shock absorber to separate the gas from the hydraulic fluid. The separating piston is made of thermoplastic material having short carbon fibers. The separating piston includes a cylindrical final section connected to a common part (33) having a common section, which gradually decreases to end in bottom (34). Plane annular walls extend in projection of the common part while being rigidified by baffles (36).
