The present invention relates to an adaptor (1) for connecting a cable bolt tensioner device (11) to a drilling rig (12). The adaptor (1) includes a mount (2) adapted to be connected to the cable bolt tensioner device (11), a base (3) adapted to be connected to the drilling rig (12) and a support section (4) connected between the mount (2) and the base (3). The support section (4) supports the mount (2) in a spaced apart position from the base (3) and includes at least one resiliently deformable member (7) to allow the mount (2) to be displaced relative to the base (3).
