-41 SMART ONLINE EDUCATIONAL ASSESSMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD 5 Smart online educational assessment system and method are disclosed. In one embodiment, an online assessment module is operable for selecting a set of questions related to a curriculum from a repository and displaying the set of questions on a client device. The online assessment module is operable for recording the answers to the set of questions, and dynamically selecting and displaying a next set of questions in a o browser application based on the number of questions correctly answered by the student till the assessment is complete. Upon completion of assessment, the online assessment module is operable for generating an online assessment report indicating performance of the student in each knowledge stream of the curriculum. Moreover, the online assessment module is operable for identifying knowledge gaps in the curriculum 5 and generating a remediation plan for the student based on the identified knowledge gaps.
