PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug opening device that prevents mist floating at a recess part of a container plug from dispersing in the periphery when opening the container plug in which a sample, a reagent and the like are sealed, and provide a sample processor and a plug opening method of the container.SOLUTION: When a plug opening mechanism 101 performs a plug opening operation to open a container body 105, an elevation operation of a container plug 104 and a drop operation of the container plug 104 are executed. Consequently, mist floating at a recess part 106 of the container plug is taken into an air flow (a removal air flow) comprising an air flow flowing toward the recess part 106 of the container plug and an air flow flowing toward a suction part 102a of a container holding suction mechanism 102, at the time of elevation of the container plug 104, to thereby suction and recover the mist. |
