<p>In a vehicle control apparatus mounted in a vehicle capable of executing an idle stop control, engine restart conditions for the idle stop control include at least a first condition that an accelerator pedal is depressed and a brake pedal is released. If both the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal are depressed during an automatic stop of the engine, the first condition is changed to a condition that the accelerator pedal is depressed to or beyond a pre-set value A so that it is less easy to restart the engine than if the brake pedal is released.</p> |
