PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure safety of information dealt with in an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus is connected with a mobile terminal via a wireless network, and comprises: means for performing authentication to the mobile terminal by using authentication information on a previously registered user and identification information on the mobile terminal; means for requesting acquisition of information stored in the mobile terminal; and means for acquiring the information stored in the mobile terminal transmitted in response to the request.
