<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for wheel that is reducible in manufacturing cost while reduced in weight, and can have higher strength nearby root parts of a plurality of flange parts, and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A bearing device for wheel includes a flanged shaft member having: a shaft part 10 where a rolling bearing is assembled; a fitting shaft part 30 which is formed on one end side of the shaft part 10 and onto which a center hole of a wheel is fitted; and a plurality of flange parts 21 which are extended radially in outer-diameter directions to an outer peripheral surface positioned between the shaft part 10 and fitting shaft part 30, and have through bolt holes where hub bolts for fastening the wheel are arranged. The flange parts 21 are formed using a molding tool having a recess part 84 holding gaps with the flange parts 21 on at least one-side inner wall faces of flange molding parts 78, corresponding to the flange parts 21, of cavities formed in molding tools 71, 72 of a forging die device 70.</p> |
