A method of controlling power in a relay system includes a step of acquiring power ratio by minimizing the MSE of channel estimation, a step of determining power from a relay to a receiver and from a transmitter to the receiver in response to the acquired power ratio, and a step of allowing the transmitter and the relay to transmit a corresponding signal to the receiver with the determined power.
