<p>A computerized system includes a server (1, 2) which can be accessed by a plurality of customers (investors), and by suppliers of options for investments. The suppliers of the options for investments upload the options to the server (1, 2). Each investor creates an investment profile indicative of investments suitable for that investor, and the server (1, 2) automatically matches the investors to one or more of the options for investment according to the profile, and transacts chosen investments based on data entered using said functions. Customer-specific data describing the details of the investments made by the investors is stored at locations associated with the investors, and a computer system (7) at that location repeatedly forms a temporary communication path with the server (2), so that, in the case that a report is to be produced based on the data, the server (1, 2) can communicate with the computer system (7) at the location associated with the customer to obtain the required data.</p> |
