PURPOSE: A hysteresis generating pedal device is provided to effectively generate a frictional force using a compact member and to reduce the moving trajectory of a friction member which moves along with the rotation of a pedal. CONSTITUTION: A hysteresis generating pedal device comprises a housing (100), a pedal arm (200), and a friction member (300). The housing is fixed to a vehicle. The housing surrounds and supports the pedal arm and the friction member. The pedal arm is rotatably supported by the housing and comprises a rotary shaft (210) fixed to a rotational center position. One end of the friction member is supported by a spring (310). The other end of the friction member is equipped between the pedal arm and the housing. The friction member comes in touch with the housing to produce friction by rotating through a pedal effort delivered by the pedal arm. The center of rotation of the friction member is different from the center of rotation of the pedal arm. |
