An apparatus comprising: a processor and memory including computer program code, the memory and the computer program code configured to, with the processor, cause the apparatus to: display a user interface for an audio equalizer, the user interface comprising a predefined region associated with a particular category of audio equalization; detect the position of a user input within the predefined region; and control the relative amplitudes of one or more frequency bandwidths of an audio signal to be output based on the detected position within the predefined region to produce a specific audio output having audio characteristics associated with that particular audio equalization category. |
