The present invention relates to an LED floodlight which can minimize the weight of an LED floodlight to facilitate the installation and the maintenance of the floodlight and maintain a strong and stable installation state against wind, and a manufacturing method thereof. An LED floodlight according to the present invention includes an LED module where LED devices are mounted on a PCB; a heat dissipation part for discharging heat generated from the LED module; and a base which has an upper surface where the heat dissipation part is formed and a lower surface where the LED module is formed. The heat dissipation part includes heat sink fins which dissipate heat; and thermal bond which is applied onto the upper surface of the base. The heat sink fins are molded separately from the base and are steadfastly bonded onto the base by the thermal bond applied onto the upper surface of the base.
