<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zero point positioning method of a ball valve capable of setting the zero point position of the ball valve and a flow on-off valve with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The flow on-off valve has a ball valve 14 through which the gas passage 42 is formed, the body 12, the shaft 46 turning the ball valve 14 in the communicating chamber, the valve presser 16 displaceably and slidably contacting the ball valve 14, the valve seat 18 of which the ball valve 14 sits, and the wave washer 32 pushing the valve presser 16 to the ball valve 14 side, the small hole 47 is arranged in the ball valve 14 as the positioning part comprising the shaft line J1 intersecting with the shaft line J2 of the gas passage 42 by a known angle, the small hole 47 is located at a position facing at least one of the gas inlet opening 22 and the gas outlet opening 24 with the ball valve 14 arranged at the position where the gas passage 42 is fully closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
