The invention defines a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) based tool which provides users with a visual representation of data network traffic flows over an Internet based Virtual Private Network (VPN), encompassing Public and Private (Hybrid) networks, and third party Cloud service providers, i.e. a "Cloud Map" for viewing network activity. It includes detecting sub optimal performance of data latency and throughput, triggering Bandwidth on Demand (BoD) requests to Broadband Service Providers using the open Network Service Interface (NSI) protocol.
