PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of compensating variation of threshold voltage of a transistor and suppressing variation in luminance, and to provide a driving method using the same.SOLUTION: Current is supplied to a light-emitting element to make the light-emitting element emit light in a manner that initialization is performed in a first period, voltage based on the threshold voltage of a first transistor is held in first and second holding capacitors in a second period, voltage based on a video signal voltage and the threshold voltage of the first transistor is held in the first and second holding capacitors in a third period, and the voltage held in the first and second holding capacitors in the third period is applied to a gate electrode of the first transistor in a fourth period. Through this operation process, current in which the influence of variation in threshold voltage of the first transistor is compensated can be supplied to the light-emitting element and the variation in luminance can be suppressed. |
